Mbah
'Mbah'
A rough translation from the Indonesian language is 'respected elderly person' and can be used either in masculine or feminine.
Not the cleanest composition - bike in the background is quite distracting, amongst other things.
The lesson? Compose and wait for the shot.
I saw this lady approaching and could feel a shot developing. Instead of composing and waiting for her to pass, I rushed and fled towards her.
A passing gaze froze the moment between us. Eyes locked, shutter pressed. The moment quickly thawed and our worlds we're no longer intertwined.
Taken with my phone + a DIY lens.
