Sunrise and stars

During a week of early rises to catch some sunrises and foggy mornings, this was one of the very nicest. A sea of fog lay beneath the stars as the intense colour slowly developed in the east.

 

Taken many years ago from when I lived in Stawell, this was taken from the town's small but nicely placed lookout atop Big Hill.
