The spoonbill conversation continued a few minutes later.

 

"He's still over there you know"

 

"Who?"

 

"That persistent Greater Canon nosed happy snapper!"

 

"Oh yes, I can even hear it now."

 

"What a funny call it has.....sort of a quiet bebeep..... click, click, click, click click!"

 

"I think it only seems to call when you stick your feathers up you know."

 

"Okay, let's give it something to get noisy about!"
