The Jag....
I have always wanted an E-type Jaguar - in British Racing Green of course - so I am pleased to finally be able to say I have one in the driveway! Here, my better half is waiting patiently so I can take her for a ride (to the carwash!)
For those who haven't twigged yet, this is just a 1/18th scale model made by Burago, and is one of a half dozen model cars in my small collection. Yesterday on flickr, I was inspired yet again by an amazing image in the Explore gallery using a technique called forced perspective, and it showed what I thought was a real car and caravan. Both were just 1/24th scale models very cleverly presented and photographed by two very talented guys.

My model car here is on a bench with a rubber lining which looks nicely like bitumen. This is just a foot or so in front of the camera, and my dear wife is sitting on a stool some ten feet beyond the car.
You will no doubt see ongoing shots of my car collection as I figure out different ways to present them. This is a heap of fun!
