The Cosmic Question Mark
My latest image from the backyard is the 'Cosmic Question Mark Nebula' in the constellation Cepheus.
This target includes a large, bright emission nebula (NGC 7822), with a nebulous 'point' at the bottom (Sharpless 170).
If you're in the northern hemisphere, Cepheus is full of photographic nebulae, including this monster.
I used an ultra-portable telescope setup for this one, a wide-field refractor and a one-shot-color astronomy camera.
Equipment Used:
Camera: bit.ly/3zuuEvO
Telescope: bit.ly/3YAoO6s
Filter: bit.ly/4b6MV0F
Mount: bit.ly/4csp0bn
Total Exposure: 6 Hours (72 x 5 minutes)
