The Garlic Head Nebula (LBN 576)

This is a rather dim supernova remnant in the constellation Cassiopeia.

 

I collected just over 19 hours on this bad boy - a new record for me!

I've probably spent more time processing this image than any other.

 

Usually that means that I just can't get it to the point I want it - and that was the case with this target!

 

BUT, the silver lining is I learned a bunch of new processing tricks along the way, and that's kind of what AP is about :)
