Lagoon Nebula
Messier 8, the Lagoon Nebula.
This image was captured under heavy city light-pollution from my home in Ontario, Canada.
I used an Optolong L-eXtreme filter to help isolate this emission nebula from a washed out sky.
21 x 5-minutes at ISO 3200
Images stacked and calibrated in DeepSkyStacker. All processing in Adobe Photoshop 2020.
I also applied some existing color data from last summer to help improve the signal-to-noise ratio, but the data is largely pulled from the recent images using my Canon EOS Ra and Optolong L-eXtreme filter.
