Late for lunch

I was just finishing lunch yesterday when this grasshopper flew into the kitchen. I had not expected for it to hang round for a full photography session, but that’s exactly what it did. I ran to get my camera and sure thing there it was basking on the table, waiting for the clicking of the camera. I was fortunate enough to get several shots but this probably is the most in focus of the lot.

I think it would have stayed for the afternoon but I had things to do, so beaker over its head to catch it and out it went to make some noise.
