Everybody goes surfin’
As mentioned yesterday I was in Swansea on Friday and dropped into Langland bay. It felt that the world and his wife were running into the sea with their boards. It could only have been a few degrees above freezes but there were a good dozen people in as you can see.
We were surprised that the waves were so big as it was relatively calm but they were catching the waves for sure.
Again the light wasn’t great as the sea mist had rolled in to make it quite an overcast afternoon.
It is one activity that I would have loved to have learnt and mastered but have only been once, we had a family surfing lesson, needless to say the children were far better than us adults. Maybe one day I’ll have the time to revisit this childhood dream...
