Freedom. In memory of the 21.3.17 attack. Cormorant
I took this yesterday completely unaware that there had been a tragedy unfolding in London.
I had thought that it might not be appropriate to post today, on the other hand this cormorant was completely free to go about his day, it's a reminder that we are privileged to go about our daily business (usually) without fear of attack.
As an aside I'd clocked the cormorant last week when on my bike, had gone down later that day with the camera but only ducks to be found. Yesterday however, I was going upstream and he landed on the pictured rock about 50m ahead of me, he stayed long enough for me to get 3 photos. I was amazed at the beauty of the fearthers
