Rydal Cave
I walked up here today, I wasn't expecting the place to myself but I was surprised by the number of people visiting. I only had my phone with me so no tripod and no bracketing to capture the inside and entrance to the cave so had to make do and compromise with a shot of the cave and a small section of the entrance. Rydal cave is actually an abandoned slate mine and I can imagine the miners grafting away by candle light for a few shillings a day and no benefits. It must have been a hard life. There are a few people near the mouth of the cavern and I left these in the picture to give a sense of scale.
