Stairwell - Baltic Gallery - Gateshead

The Baltic Gallery is a converted flour mill on the banks of the river Tyne. It has some fantastic modern architectural features including this splendid stainless steel staircase designed by Mark Wallinger. The stairway has a mirror at the top and bottom giving the impression of a never ending staircase. Well worth a visit if you are ever visiting Gateshead or Newcastle upon Tyne.
