Short-eared Owl close up!

A fully wild, but remarkably obliging bird - it flew right past at close range. Taken from the same spot on North Uist as the Hen Harrier!

 

A few frames later I managed to get the whole bird in the frame as it crossed in front of me. Watch my photostream for it!
