Autumn Junco on mountain ash
This little beauty flew up from the ground onto the branch and into the view of my camera. I was glad that I had adequate time to frame it between the berries. As it sat for a brief instant wondering what to do next, I caught its head turn pose and profile when it looked into the lens.
Taken on: Sept. Edmonton, Alberta
Nikon D500 w/500mmf4G
Lightroom 6.0
*The shot was taken right after sunset. Wide aperture from my old trusty telephoto lens yields a nice bokeh and creamy background, making the overall image scheme quite pleasing.
Thank you very much for your visit and comment.
