Fish for breakfast - Air delivery

Black Tern feeding fledgling.

No added sugar, no salt, no carb, just real food with nothing to hide. And the kid loved it.

The feeding action was captured shortly after the sun was covered by a rolling mass of opacus cloud. It had became quite cloudy and the light was poor. I barely had time to crank up the ISO and adjust the camera settings when the parent dashed in to feed what appeared to be a stickleback to the chick.

Taken on: July 18, Boardwalk, JE Poole Wetland, St. Albert, Alberta.

Nikon D500 w/ 500mm f4G @ f8; 1/3000; -1/3EV; ISO3200. Manual focus. Tripod mounted. Lightroom 6.0
