Pray For Dalls

I’m never the one to post about these tensions but this incident has come too close to home.

This photo was taken on the same block as the Dallas Police Department shooting.

For those who know me, especially my friends in Texas, they know that I’ve got very much love for the City of Dallas. This city has given me nothing but great culture, humbleness, and exemplifies great UNITY. I’ve spent boundless amounts of time on the streets of Downtown Dallas because of my love for photography. When I walk these downtown encased streets, I encounter many city law enforcement personnel and I have to say the Dallas Police Department conducts a great job of keeping this city together. I spent about three hours this morning watching the news as well as raw footage of last night’s protest & shooting. From what I have observed, I believe last night’s protest would have been a prime illustration of what a peaceful demonstration is supposed to be. I viewed police and citizens amongst each other conduct the protest side by side. Unfortunately another act of hatred ensued. I am truly heartbroken by the occurrences of the past few days, especially one that is close to home. It will be very eerie to dive back into city photography but next time I chance upon Dallas Police I will be sure to thank them for their courageousness.

Violence doe not drive out violence. Innocent lives matter.
