Rugged Wonderland

I was being extremely careful behind my tripod, moving inch by inch to fine tune the composition as I wanted to align mt.adams with the rugged crater rim of mt.st.helens under the dim moon light. It was kind sketchy there because I could already be stepping on the fragile snow cornices that are everywhere on the rim, so making micro adjustment was the best I could do.

 

This is the story behind this shot, and I am glad how it turned out.
