Seattle downtown sunrise
It has been a couple of weeks since I got my Olympus em1 after securing a bargain deal locally, and I have been taken this camera out as much as possible during my spare time. Admittedly, this old camera does have its limitations. I find myself constantly having to bracket my shots and post processing on these files also aren't as smooth as I am used to.
But with all the limitations, I find it also helps me to be more precise and considerate in the field about my shooting technique, which might be a good thing for me in the long run.
This image was taken during a quick photo session before I go to work and it is a fairly high dynamic range scene. I used three exposures to capture the highlight and shadows details, and they were taken hand held with the camera held above my head so I could avoid the reflection of the building getting cut off by the railings. This is a new composition for me at this location and I think it turns out pretty good!
