Tranquility

This was my second time back to this alpine lake in Washington state. Two years ago I got here but the weather did not cooperate. I got maybe an hour of good weather but was already amazed by the turquoise color of water. Two years went by fast and I got plenty more of backpacking experience so I decided to return to this location once again.

 

This shot was taken right before sunset. I scrambled to this little ridge where I have full visibility of the lake and the background mountains. The water was so calm and beautiful and I cannot help taking a selfie here. What an amazing experience!
