Early spring Cottonwood

I came across these cottonwood trees across the road just outside the Capital Reef National Park visitor center and they immediately grabbed my attention. It was early spring time, and leaves hadn't started to grow yet on these deciduous trees, which makes their silver branches shiny in the early morning with the red canyon rocks in the background.
