Amazing dawn color at Cholla Cactus Garden
During 2019, whenever I went out for a photography trip, I always woke up early because I really enjoy the early morning peace. Often times, there would be no tourist, a few photographers and birds singing around you. Everything's so harmonious.
Photography-wise, I don't think I am a lucky person, because most of the times a early-morning start doesn't result in fruitful results. But this time, I was lucky to witenss such a beautiful sunrise.
This shot was taken at the Cholla Cactus Garden in Joshua Tree National Park, US. This place is for sunrise photography because the teddy bear cactus glow when back lit by the sun lights. I woke up at 5 am from the campground, and my heart was beating fast on my way driving here because my experience told me that when you can see red glows on the sky about an hour before sunrise, then the sunrise would be very amazing. I got to this place at about 6am, 45 minutes before sunrise. The color was becoming better and better, and the ambient light started to get reddish. Literally I was speechless in the field. Definitely the best dawn color I see in 2019.
