Camping in a Aurora storm
Iceland has been on top of my to-go list for years, and after a lot of research, preparation and visa work, I finally made it this year in 2019. I chose to go there in early September because that's when the highland part of the iceland is still accessible by cars, and people can start to see northern light at night.
I booked my flight in June, at which time I didn't know there would be a northern light storm during our stay. And finally when this just happened, it blew my mind how strong the KP-6 northern light could be. I spent the whole night taking time-lapses with two cameras pointing at different directions because the light was literally in every direction. After I headed back to the campground, I thought it is kind cool to take a photo of my tent with Aurora in the sky, and that's how I get this photo.
Anyway, this is definitely one of the most memorizing nights in my life.
