Grand Teton Alpenglow
When I was doing research about where to shoot sunrise in Grand Teton National Park, there were several options: oxbow bend, T.A. Barn and Schwabacher Landing. Since I would only have one morning there, I decided to taking my morning shot at Schwabacher Landing, where you can see perfect mountain reflection with beautiful alpenglow. When I was there, sunrise was at around 5:50 and there is a 30 mins drive from our lodge to this place. I got up at 4:40 when my roommate was still asleep and left the hotel at 5:00am. When I got to this spot, there were already several photographer waiting on the bank of the river. It took about 15 mins for the sunshine to completely cover the mountain and during that time I captured this scene.
