Coal loads grind upgrade into Austin, MT after having a helper set of 4 MRL ACe's added in the middle of the train just down the line in Helena. This uphill stretch of railroad continues for miles through Mullan Pass, and heavy westbounds necessitate additional assistance to complete the assault on Mullan.
