“This is a good opportunity since now we have a platform to hear from and share the experiences with private sector. As you all know the development aspirations of our country, wants our economy to be private sector-led economy. If we talk about the development driven by private sector, we need the latter to understand the things that can hamper that development in one way or another. The climate change is real and we need to adapt; the National Adaptation Programme was developed and it is time for the private sector to effectively join in”, said Faustin Munyazikwiye, Deputy Director General, Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA), in his opening remarks.
