Anzac Day in Palmy

Anzac Day occurs on 25 April ~ The day is very important to commemorate all New Zealanders killed in war and also honours returned servicemen and women ~ Anzac Day was first marked in 1916 ~ Since then, the ceremonies are held at war memorials up and down New Zealand, or in places overseas where New Zealanders gather ~ In Palmerston North, a dawn service to commemorate the contribution and sacrifice of Anzac soldiers in the Great War is held on 25 April every year ~ Visit my blog kiwianapavlova.wordpress.com/
