Napier
The Art Deco City with a unique concentration of 1930s Art Deco architecture - Napier is one of popular tourist cities in New Zealand. Located in Hawke's Bay which is also popular for its wineries, Napier has the characteristics of its fashionable Art Deco style: pastel colour, bold lines and elaborate motifs. An easy walking along Marine Parade will bring you to the famous floral clock, Tom Parker Fountain, Statue of Pania, Soundshell, Colonnade and Sunken Gardens (credit to The Art Deco Trust, National Aquarium of New Zealand, Church Road Winery and DK Eyewitness Travel New Zealand). I came here twice, both in spring, but I recommend to visit Napier in summer because Napier has long sunshine hours with nice sunny days. Visit my blog kiwianapavlova.wordpress.com/
