Palmerston North

Manawatu's largest city, Palmerston North or "Palmy", stretches from the Tasman Sea across to the Tararua and Ruahine ranges and encompasses a varied landscape of valleys, plateaus and rivers. Massey University, New Zealand's largest university where I had studied for 2 years and 3 months, is based in Palmy, giving it a pleasant student city atmosphere (credit to DK Eyewitness Travel, New Zealand).
