The shuttle 56 service to Thurnby has proved to be popular this past year, so Arriva have introduced it as an hourly extension of the 55.
Working the service is 2407, part of an extended batch brought in from Milton Keynes in October 2016 and was a regular haunt on this service until January 2020 when it moved to Cannock. That operation was sold to D&G a year after that.
