First’s 35179 on the 54 passes Arriva’s 4517 on the 85. This picture is perfect to ask some preferences:
Arriva or First? (Obviously)
ADL or Wrightbus?
City or Countryside? (Would have been better if 4517 was on the 84)
I’ve always felt at home with Arriva so I’ll pick them, however, for comfort I prefer First.
ADL obviously, Wrightbus have proper gone down the toilet. I always describe Wrightbus as the Peugeot of the bus industry. I say this because Top Gear loved the 504 Estate and the 205 GTI. I love the Geminis on the VDL and Volvo chassis. Then we hear how today’s Peugeots are a sea of awfulness, just like Wrightbus. At the time Peugeot was producing the 308 which almost qualified for the worst car in the world, but lost to the Lexus SC430. Wrightbus now have the StreetDeck and worst of all, the Streetlite.
