Final Lettermark

 

For this project the students will design a typographic lettermark of their two initials. The project requires the student examine the characteristic shape and structure of the two letters and determine how the two forms can be integrated into a unified whole to create a mark in which each letter is integral to the other. It demands attention to all the details of letterform design including stroke, weight, style, form, positive/negative space and contrast.
