Almost Ready For A Close Up

She has arrived!!

I’m building myself an Imogen one piece at a time, and her head is finally here!! I’m beginning to wonder if Imogen is going to stay her name or if maybe Emogene (or Emma-Jean😉) might be more appropriate because:

This beauty did NOT want to leave Atlanta!

Imogen’s head spent over a week trapped in the Atlanta postal system, shuttled from the post office to the distribution center and back again before finally making it to Alaska! The tracking history is a maze but she kept trucking! (In a fun coincidence my mother and her whole family is from Georgia and my sister lives maybe two hours from Atlanta with her family!)

Not part of the Plan but I wonder if she is really a Southern Belle at heart! Probably just an alias or cover identity!

 

Now the question: do I make her “codename” a joke about the original doll’s name, the convoluted journey she had getting to me, or something distinctly Southern?
