On the tour to the Spronser Lakes. This is at the highest point of the tour where there are almost only stones and hardly any vegetation. Once you have crossed the Spronser Joch (2.581 m) it's practically all downhill (about 1.900 m descent to go) and you look down at the lakes, which lie in front of you in the sunlight (if it's not cloudy 😉). The Spronser Lakes (German: Spronser Seenplatte; Italian: Laghi di Sopranes) is the largest group of high elevation lakes in the Alps, located in South Tyrol, Italy.
