Summer solstice celebration

The Echinacea flowers are celebrating the longest day of the year and also the begin of summer on the northern hemisphere 😄 Wishing everybody a fantastic summer ☀️ and happy midsummer

 

A solstice is an event that occurs when the Sun appears to reach its most northerly or southerly excursion relative to the celestial equator on the celestial sphere. For an observer on the North Pole, the Sun reaches the highest position in the sky once a year in June.
