NON- SMOKING POSTER 4 'MEDUSA LUNGS'
This is my fourth non-smoking poster that I created as my final piece for my A Level Art & Design course- based on the exam title 'Energy, Power and Dynamism' . The concept behind this poster is that smoking gives you the risk of getting Kidney Stone. I responded to this concept by using the Greek mythology of Medusa, who turns people to stone. I also did an acrylic painting of smokers lungs, which evidently look like stone. The whole point of Medusa and the smokers lungs is to show that smoking can turn your kidneys to stone resulting in 'Kidney Stones' which can potentially kill the individual. I did this to emphasis the 'Energy, Power and Dynamism' of how smoking affects the human body.
