Gallery of Maps

Painted between 1580 and 1585, the Gallery of Maps is a long corridor with 40 maps frescoed to the walls showing the different Italian regions and papal properties of Pope Gregory XIII. This one specifically, is one of the Italian peninsula, Sicily, Sardinia, and Corse.
