Final iteration

Here is the final outcome for the interrogation project. I tried several different layouts and considered whether or not to paint the panels or leave them blank. Each of the coloured pieces of paper is the same size and shape of one of the surfaces on the paperweight, and each of the black lines represent one of the edges of the paperweight, so 48 edges mean 48 black lines and 18 surfaces mean 18 pieces of coloured paper. I took inspiration for the colors on the paper from the colors produced when sunlight shines through the glass at the right angle.

I am mostly happy with my final outcome, I think it would have looked better with a border, and it may have looked more striking if the background had been black paper and the edge lines white. But I like the rainbow patterns on the paper (as I’ve said before, I’m attracted to bright, pretty, colourful things) and I like the layout, as well as how the black lines look against the coloured paper.
