Description: BALANCE & STRESS is a refreshing, rehydrating and stress relieving oral solution for poultry. It reduces mortality and productivity losses in animals suffering from heat stress due to high ambient temperatures and a high relative humidity. Betaine prevents dehydration as it retains water in the mucosal cells of the gut wall, which reduces water loss in faeces and improves faecal consistency. Nutrient absorption is also improved. Vitamin C relieves symptoms and health problems associated with heat stress. Magnesium blood concentrations has been found to be decreased in heat- stressed hens. Extra magnesium is then needed for normal energy metabolism and prevention of weight loss. During heat stress, sodium and potassium are decreased, which results in a disrupted acid-base balance. Supplementing feed or water with different electrolyte salts (containing potassium, calcium, chloride and sodium) repairs this balance.

Indications:

BALANCE & STRESS is indicated for the relief of symptoms and health problems associated with heat stress in poultry.Symptomatic treatment of fever in the context of respiratory diseases in combination with an appropriate anti-infective therapy.
