Calystegia silvatica (L) and Calystegia sepium (R) comparison
Apparently the way to tell the difference between Calystegia silvatica and C. sepium(Large Bindweed and Hedge Bindweed) is that the two epicalyx bracts overlap each other and conceal the sepals in C. sylvatica (shown at left) while in C. sepium they do not overlap one another and the sepals are visible (shown at right).
