ecco uno dei tanti esempi di fruttificazione delle cactacee. Come potete osservare i fruttini, molto piccoli, contengono dei semini che si possono osservare in trasparenza. Sarà sufficiente schiacciare il fruttino su un foglio di carta da cucina, lasciare asciugare la polpa e una volta seccata potrete stropicciarla per ricavare i semini.

Se vi andasse di tentare la semina potrete utilizzare una scatola/contenitore semitrasparente in vendita in qualsiasi supermercato o grande magazzino che forerete sul fondo e riempirete con terriccio abbastanza drenante. Su di esso spargerete in superficie i semini. Bagnate con delicatezza e ricoprite con il coperchio disponendo il tutto in un luogo esposto a sud ma in mezz'ombra. Se siete stati bravi verrete ricompensati .
