Grandma Weaver bought a bag of Thomas's at the flea market
My darling wife Jill went to the local flea market early this morning. She was intent on adding to her 'Grandma's treasure chest' of toys and books which she maintains to delight and entertain our grandchildren when they come to visit us. Some of these items are very expensive when bought new from a shop, but Jill keeps her eyes open and this morning came home with a grab bag full of various versions of Thomas the tank engine and some of his friends. The locos and rolling stock looked like they had only been used once and then the original owner had lost interest because the batteries had gone flat. There was a trick to replacing them which we had to learn from uTube. After these toys have been disinfected they'll be stashed away until some time in the new year, after the excitement of Christmas has waned. The photo is of Grandma Weaver checking out her bargain purchase this morning.
