To improve our talent we tend to play with stronger contenders. Such is the case with my homage to Andre Kertész "the fork" 1928.
Emulating his 'Neues sehen' style I utilized his lighting and 40 degree angle paying attention to light/dark balance and contrast edge.
It is not the forks that are the decisive, but the manner they are perceived by the viewer; 'mode de perception'.
