Solitude

Just on the other side of those trees is a fresh flowing lake filled with geese and ducks, but this lonely goose chose this stagnant runoff pool to be alone.

Week after week I returned to find her here alone in her sanctuary. Both animals and humans, some gravitate toward groups while others avoid such situations.
