The third painting in the series “Supernatural Magic”. This is an unfinished work in progress. The Djinn have not yet shown themselves but I’m sure they are near.
The second series, “Supernatural Magic”, I am currently working on is about the sense of a multidimensional universe where the perceived forces of good and evil manifest themselves referenced from the beautiful images of artists of all cultures from the past as a starting point, all pulled from the garbage bin of the internet. These ideas are all referencing a supernatural source supplied to us by the “great religions” and our cultural history and combining that with the modern idea of the magic act. A magic rabbit pulled from the hat of the internet garbage bin. All of the current religions are being dismantled to make way for one common religion. These images are about that dismantling. I make no value judgements about those ideas. My paintings are not intended to be judgements or answers of any kind, rather they are the visual catalyst to questions the viewers may choose to ask themselves and answer on their own. Contact me below if you would like to see it when it is finished.
My work is in collections ranging from the royal family of Thailand to the Eli Broad Collection in Los Angeles, CA.
I am currently offering some of my paintings at very affordable costs in order to finance the two new series of paintings I am currently working on: “Ancestors” and “Supernatural Magic”. In the immortal words of Janis Joplin “ with a little help from my friends”. If you know me then you know the hardships I have been through the past few years and if you don’t know me these links will give you a good idea of the last four years.
