It seems impossible that it was three years ago that Stagecoach barged into North Devon at a time when First were looking rather vulnerable.
One of the initial routes was the 103 to Ilfracombe which only lasted a year until First regained the contract for scholar's tickets which made the route unviable for Stagecoach, so they expanded the 308 route to Braunton and Georgeham instead.
This Leyland Olympian is waiting time in Barnstaple bus station. When new, it was one of the initial buses put into Aldershot when Stagecoach bought Alder Valley South. One of very few deckers to have Eastbourne registrations and not belonging to the former municipal fleet!
