The Downfall
FGLK subsidiary Mid-Coast Railservice train RB-2 heads west through Waldoboro on 7/3/2023 with a half a dozen or so cement cars in tow.
The end has already come for Dragon Cement, with the final loads being shipped out in the last week. For now the plant will stay in operation, only producing enough product for local customers. Who knows what will become of the plant or Mid-Coast. Regardless, things don't look nearly as bright as they did last year.
