The Longleaf Pine is a diverse ecosystem that is also resistant to fire, which makes it a fire climax ecosystem. The current ecological process shown are the photosynthetic process of in taking CO2 and releasing oxygen. The other ecological process is the start if the reproduction system. Since spring has sprung the pine tree has sprouted the male strobili for flowering and start the reproduction between the male strobili and female strobili(pine cone).
