Brickworld 2016 Recap

Well, Brickworld Chicago finished up yesterday, and I must say that I had an awesome time! I don't have any incredible pictures, so you'll just have to bear with this building I displayed.

 

Some of the highlights for me are:

 

-Watching giant BattleSHIP

-Talking to people from VLUG and GamerLUG

-Participating in a Simon Draft

-Talking with Ted Andes and seeing the Techwest collab come about

-Hanging out with Josiah N.

-And of course seeing the awesome displays from the rest of the attendees!

 

Two displays that really stood out to me were Tim Lydy's Forms of Gotham and the Giant Snails with Castles by the Eurobricks people (is that what they're called :P).

 

I wouldn't have been able to attend this year, if it wasn't for the fact that Josiah N. and his brother came to stay with us. I was able to drive to the convention with them :) Thanks a ton! We watched the Lego Movie on Saturday night, and Josiah and I were both so tired that we fell asleep within 20 minutes :P

 

I will tag a few people who I talked to or made the convention awesome for me :) I'm glad I could meet you guys!

 

Can't wait for next year!
