Emptiness

What's missing from this picture? The large old tree! (www.flickr.com/photos/14202200@N00/50970727642/in/datepos...)

After 300+ years it finally succumbed to old age and a storm and was cut down and totally removed. I hope at least it's fine wood got turned into something useful.

Technical stuff: Leica R7, 35-70 4.0 Vario-Elmar, Fuji Provia100F, pro-lab developed. Scanned with Nikon LS9000 + vuescan + darktable (linux versions).
