Saved by the bellowing goose - A lucky trout escaped from the Osprey’s grasp when a Canada goose intervened (archives)

When I photographed this event three years ago, this shot was overlooked because the background was so busy with boat shed, docks and boat that the action was not well seen. Now, with extra time on my hands and better processing skills to clear the distracting background, the action is clear. That was one lucky trout and an unlucky Osprey.
